There are simple steps to helping find your purr-fect match with the SPCA of Texas! 
 
1.  Find your new best friend. See all the animals available for adoption in our Find A Pet portal. Search by criteria like breed, age and size, plus see animals that fit different families and their lifestyles. The best part is looking through the adorable photos, videos and bios. 
 
2. Fall in love. Once you’ve picked an animal (or a few), come in for a meet and greet at our shelter or schedule an appointment facilitated by our skilled adoption team. Every family is unique and so is each animal. Our aim is to help you find the best match for both. 
 
3. Take your new pet home. Our team will walk you through each step of your adoption, including a trial adoption if needed. You’ll need I.D., contact information and payment to take your new pal home. And, be prepared to make room in your heart and home.
